_Bio: Kazuhiro Katase is a potter born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1979. Katase studied at the Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts. After graduating Katse worked as an assistant to Seto potter Shigekazu Nagae where he learned casting from a creative perspective. Katase’s work combines different techniques to create and developed works that are functional and unique. Katase has been making his work Toyota City and Seto City, Aichi Prefecture since 2008.
